Health & Safety

We are able to offer help and assistance to Clients in enabling the Health and Safety at Work Act and the associated Regulations and Codes of Practice. These place a duty on Employers to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare at work of all employees. There is no escape from these obligations and all Employers must comply.

SAMS provide Consultants from a number of different disciplines and many years of experience at the "sharp end" of the Health and Safety at Work Act.

We are thus able to write Health and Safety Policies, associated Health and Safety Manuals or any other of the detailed tasks outlined above for Clients, or we can help Clients to write their own.

The service that is proving to be increasingly popular is for us to operate as your Named Safety Advisor / Retained Consultant.

Below we list our Health & Safety services, but fuller details can be found on our separate Health & Safety web site. To visit the site - CLICK HERE

CDM Construction (Design and Management) Regulations

These Regulations must be considered by all companies who work on construction sites since it includes responsibilities and requirements for all sizes of construction projects, general requirements for health, safety and welfare on site, and competence criteria for companies and persons working on site.

For large projects (over 500 person days or if the project lasts more than 30 continuous days) there are additional requirements.
